Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable Department across multiple corps sites in the Intermountain Division. This is a working manager role responsible for invoice processing, posting, and timely payments, with GAAP standards and internal controls in mind.

You will supervise AP clerks, ensure accuracy of account numbers, and support audits while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
• Five+ years of full-cycle AP experience required.
• Two+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Associate of Arts degree in Accounting required; three years of AP experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable Department.
• Process, verify, post and timely payment of invoices and credit memos.
• Maintain AP records for multiple corps sites in the Intermountain Division.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and prepare materials for audits.
• Train and supervise AP staff to ensure peak performance.
