Job summary

The Salvation Army Intermountain Div is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager in Denver, CO. This full-time role reports to the Divisional Finance Director and supervises AP Clerks, with a 40-hour standard office schedule and a pay rate of $71,000–$75,500 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily AP operations, ensuring timely payments, month-end closings, audits, and maintaining AP records for multiple corps sites within the Intermountain Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related subject; five+ years of hands-on full cycle AP experience.
• Five+ years of supervisory experience in accounts payable.
• Three years of hands-on full cycle AP experience using a midsize accounting software system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable Department.
• Process, verify, post and timely pay invoices and credit memos.
• Maintain AP records for multiple corps sites in the Intermountain Division.
• Ensure month-end closings and reconcile AP with balance sheet accounts.
• Provide training and supervise AP staff; assist audits; maintain GAAP compliance.
