Job summary

Prospera Hotels, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the day-to-day AP operations on-site in Orange, CA. You will review and code invoices, manage accruals, and post journal entries while ensuring timely payments and strong internal controls across multiple hotel and real estate entities.

Ideal candidates bring at least five years in accounts payable, with three years leading a function, plus solid Excel and ERP system experience. Hospitality accounting knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounts payable or accounting experience.
• At least three years leading an accounts payable function or multi-entity workflow.
• Experience processing invoices for multiple business units, entities, and locations.
• Knowledge of GAAP; Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry preferred.
• Demonstrated experience evaluating accounts payable processes and improving automated workflows.
• Experience with hospitality accounting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounts payable operations for multiple hotel and real estate entities.
• Process invoices, manage accruals, and post journal entries in accordance with policy.
• Monitor AP aging, resolve discrepancies, respond to vendor inquiries, and support month-end/year-end closing.
• Lead internal controls improvement, audits, and coordination with accounting and operations teams.
