Job summary

Cart.com, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a small AP team and optimize our payment operations. You will manage invoice processing, payments, vendor relations, and month-end close, while driving efficiency and ensuring policy compliance.

We seek a detail-oriented, strategic leader who can scale our AP function in a fast-growing ecommerce environment, collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT, and support audits with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of accounts payable experience in fast-growth environments
• Experience leading and mentoring an AP team
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, controls, and month-end close
• Familiarity with W-9 and 1099 reporting and tax compliance
• Proficiency in Bill.com, Dynamics, and Excel (pivot, vlookup)
• Experience with automation tools and process improvements to scale AP

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire accounts payable process from invoice to payment
• Lead and mentor a team of AP associates, providing guidance and feedback
• Ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Manage vendor relations and resolve invoicing or payment discrepancies
• Support month-end close with reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
• Collaborate with IT and finance on AP system enhancements (Bill.com, Dynamics)
• Prepare for internal and external audits with complete documentation
• Develop training materials and SOPs for the AP team
• Work cross-functionally with procurement, finance, and operations
