County Materials in Marathon, Wisconsin, is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead AP operations across multiple entities, drive process improvements, and modernize purchase-to-pay workflows. The role partners with Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, IT, and operations to ensure timely vendor payments and robust reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP with leadership experience, strong control mindset, and exposure to ERP and automation initiatives to scale a growing organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience with prior leadership responsibility.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-entity environments and demonstrated success improving AP processes through automation and technology.
• Strong knowledge of procure-to-pay, three-way matching, internal controls, and month-end close activities.
• Experience managing outsourced service providers and developing operational metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Accounts Payable operations across multiple entities.
• Coach, develop, and manage AP staff and third-party providers.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization of AP processes.
• Partner with Finance and IT on ERP enhancements and integrations.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with policies.
