Job summary

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience with supervisory responsibilities.

  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable function for a high-volume, multi-client accounting operation.
  • Lead and develop a small AP team while ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely invoice processing.
  • Oversee the processing of thousands of invoices and recurring payments each month.
  • Review invoice coding, approvals, and payment processing while maintaining strong internal controls.
  • Manage vendor setup and maintenance, ensuring required documentation and compliance standards are met.
  • Partner with accounting leadership to support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and other accounting-related tasks.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients by coordinating AP transitions and recurring vendor obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and increase departmental efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure exceptional service and timely issue resolution.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience working in a high-volume invoice processing environment.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and accounting principles.
  • Experience supporting month-end close activities, reconciliations, or other general accounting functions is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
