Troon’s corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead and elevate the AP function across multiple entities. This role drives policy, controls, and 1099 compliance while developing a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in AP with leadership experience, strong ERP and Excel skills, and a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounts payable experience with people management.
• Knowledge of full-cycle AP, vendor master data, and 1099 compliance.
• Proven track record leading teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own AP strategy, policy, and internal controls across entities.
• Lead, develop, and manage AP staff to high performance.
• Monitor metrics for processing accuracy, timeliness, and 1099 compliance.
• Own year-end 1099 reporting strategy and IRS compliance.
• Oversee banking and payment activity and vendor master data quality.
• Partner with other departments to resolve issues and drive automation.
