Infleqtion, Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to own and transform our AP function. You will lead end-to-end AP processes, implement scalable controls, and drive timely closings in a growing, public-company environment.

You will partner with Accounting, Procurement and Finance, oversee AP automation, vendor master controls, 1099 and tax processes, and develop KPIs to improve cycle times while building a capable AP team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounts payable or accounting operations experience.
• 2+ years in a people leadership role.
• Experience stabilizing or redesigning AP processes in growth environments.
• Experience evaluating and implementing AP automation or procure-to-pay software.
• Strong knowledge of AP accounting, three-way match, accruals, and month-end close.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Analytical mindset with ability to drive root-cause resolution.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounts payable process: invoicing, coding, approvals, vendor setup, payments, and AP reporting.
• Establish AP operating cadence and accountability for timely processing and issue resolution.
• Lead implementation of AP automation integrated with NetSuite for scalable procure‑to‑pay.
• Design and document standardized AP workflows, policies, and service-level expectations.
• Strengthen controls: segregation of duties, vendor master controls, and audit support.
• Manage monthly AP close, accruals, aging, vendor reconciliations, and PO review.
• Ensure invoices and payments are recorded in the correct accounting period.
• Collaborate with Procurement to improve PO compliance and reduce nonstandard purchasing.
• Oversee vendor tax information, 1099 process, and use-tax support.
• Coordinate with auditors to provide AP support and KPIs on processing times.
• Build and coach an AP team delivering high-quality, timely service.
