Vintners Distributors, Inc. in Union City, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to oversee daily AP workflows, guide staff, and ensure timely, accurate invoice processing in a multi-entity environment.

You will resolve invoice discrepancies, maintain vendor records, support process improvements, and enforce internal controls. The role requires 5–7 years AP experience, leadership experience, and strong Excel skills; this is an exempt, in-person position at our corporate headquarters.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounts payable experience, with informal leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP workflows and staff.
• Verify vendor invoices and payments for accuracy.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintain vendor master records.
• Support AP close and ensure proper cut-off.
