Job summary

Addison Group in Centennial, CO is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to manage the daily AP workflow, mentor staff, and ensure timely invoice processing in a hybrid, in-office setting.

You will drive process improvements, maintain internal controls, coach team members on ticketing tools, and collaborate with the AP Manager to achieve department objectives and accuracy. This role includes medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable processing experience with 1+ year of people leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily flow of invoices and requests through the AP ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Monitor ticket queues, identify bottlenecks, and assist in prioritizing workload to meet deadlines.
• Perform hands-on AP processing including invoice review, coding, matching, and payment support as needed.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex AP issues and vendor inquiries.
• Coach and train AP team members on workflows, ticketing tools, and best practices.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new AP staff.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to ticketing workflows, invoice processing, and system utilization.
• Collaborate with the AP Manager to support department objectives and operational consistency.
• Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and teamwork across the department.
