Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an AP team lead to mentor the Merchandise Accounts Payable group and ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices for replenishment merchandise across distribution centers.

You will coach staff, drive adherence to procedures, and collaborate with Supervisors to elevate performance while delivering exceptional service to suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, email, 10 key by touch and keyboard.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
• Excellent customer service, organization and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and make decisions within AP guidelines.
• Be reliable, have good attendance, be a team player, and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Oversee invoice entry and payment process for replenishment merchandise for distribution centers.

• Assist with maintaining written procedures of all department functions.
• Work with Supervisors & Manager to identify team members ready for more responsibility.
• Ensure suppliers and other departments receive exceptional customer service.
• Lead resolution of AP discrepancies of all types.
• Attain sufficient systems knowledge to query and research program related problems.
• Identify process changes and improvements and make recommendations to Supervisor.
