Job summary

Monster Energy is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to guide and mentor the AP staff, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and paid on time. You will collaborate with multiple departments and vendors globally to resolve discrepancies and support monthly closings.

Key duties include auditing and posting POs and non-PO invoices, creating payment proposals, resolving invoice issues across finance, transportation, and purchasing, and leading special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• 1–3 years in a full cycle accounts payable role with internal controls.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

A day in the life:

In the position of Accounts Payable Lead, you will lead, mentor, and coach the accounts payable staff to ensure invoices are processed, paid timely, and accurately. Responsible for supporting the team research discrepancies, work with many different departments, and vendors globally

Who you are:

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance or related field of study


• Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting


• Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in a full cycle accounts payable role, internal control system


• Computer Skills Desired: SAP experience, Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word (v-lookups, pivot tables)

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range

$25—$33 USD
