Monster Energy is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager (Temp) responsible for overseeing the AP function, ensuring timely payments, and improving processes. You will mentor the AP team, handle international and domestic payments, and maintain vendor records.

Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years in full-cycle AP, and 3–5 years in a supervisory role with knowledge of international payments.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Analyze processes and identify improvements.
• Guide and mentor AP staff; interview, hire, and conduct reviews.
• Ensure vendors are paid according to policy with internal controls.
• Maintain vendor records.
• Process payments globally (ACH, checks, wires).
• Prepare journal entries, reports, and analysis for senior management.
• Participate in month-end AP cut-offs.
• Prepare 1099 forms and tax forms as needed.
• Interpret policies and regulations for AP staff.

A Day in the Life:

In the position of Accounts Payable Manager Temp, you will manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors. Analyze processes, identify ways to improve them.

The Impact You'll Make:

• Guide, teach, and mentor the accounts payable staff. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and conducting staff performance reviews. Effectively and positively communicate with colleagues and vendors.
• Ensure vendors are paid in accordance with company policy; enforce and adhere to internal controls for the AP function. Maintain vendor records
• Implement and improve on accounting processes and systems.
• Analyze key project indicators numbers and ensure productivity and efficiency of processes.
• Prepare and manage payment transactions globally (ACH, checks, and international/domestic wires). Prepare journal entries, reports and analysis as requested by senior management.
• Participate in the recurring month-end processes, including the management of AP cut-offs.
• Prepare 1099-Miscellaneous tax forms and tax levy. Assist with legal requests as needed.
• Serve as a resource to staff, department managers and others for interpreting policies, procedures and regulations relating to AP.

Who You Are:

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting, Business Administration or related field of study
• Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in full cycle accounts payable in a fast-paced environment
• Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in supervisor role
• Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Prior knowledge and experience with international payments/banking requirement

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range

$41 - $55 USD
