This salaried, non-exempt role collaborates across teams, assists with month-end close, stock adjustments, and year-end filing, and reports to the Plant Controller at our Louisville manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred, but not required.
• General accounting and administrative skills.
• Proficiency with using Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and works well with others.
• Must be able to work independently at times, and with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AP inbox, print invoices and statements, and respond to inquiries.
• Retrieve and distribute daily mail; ensure AP documents are processed promptly.
• Match invoices for material received with receiving documents.
• Process drop ship, Louisville, and direct post invoices and credit memos.
• Research and resolve invoice and credit memo discrepancies with internal teams.
• Obtain approvals for selected direct post invoices.
• Scan and retrieve invoices for CIP, sales and use tax, and other requests.
• Compile data from reports and AP files using Excel (VLOOKUP, sort, filter).
• Prepare and archive invoices at year-end for offsite storage; set up files for the new year.
• Assist with physical inventory counts at year-end; support month-end close.
