Job summary

Compass Group USA is offering an Accounts Payable Help Desk Intern position in Charlotte, NC for Summer 2027. The internship runs May 17th to Aug 6th, 2027, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with a hybrid on-site location in Charlotte.

The role involves working with vendors and internal customers to research and resolve payment concerns within SAP. The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (minimum GPA 3.0) with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s in accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with vendors to obtain invoice copies and other pertinent information required for complete research
• Use SAP system to research invoice status
• Coordinate with internal resources to ensure invoices are processed
• Process heavy volume of invoices and credit/debit memos in SAP
• Prepare analysis of vendor accounts
• Special projects as assigned
