Job summary

The role includes reviewing invoices for compliance, preparing financial reports, posting journal entries, and assisting audits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience or training in accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, or financial operations or computations.
• Every 30 semester hours earned can substitute for one year of the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and enter payment information into the financial system.
• Review invoices and supporting documents for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Reconcile payments and financial records; resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with posting and journalizing financial transactions.
• Communicate with vendors and agency staff regarding payments.
• Support accounts payable operations and fiscal processes.
• Apply accounting principles and procurement requirements in daily duties.
• Assist with special projects, audits, and other fiscal activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Office of Management & Finance/Fiscal Division.
