Job summary

CFS is seeking an Accounts Payable Director in Orlando, FL to lead a large, high-volume AP function within a healthcare organization. The role focuses on ownership, automation, and collaboration with senior finance leaders to drive operational excellence.

You will mentor AP managers, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements, controls, and scalable workflows to support growth and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Accounts Payable or shared services experience.
• 3+ years of leadership in a high-volume AP environment.
• Strong knowledge of AP operations, procure-to-pay, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payments, and vendor management.
• Develop and mentor AP managers and team members.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity, and service levels to ensure operational excellence.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
• Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and AP policies.
• Partner with cross-functional departments to improve workflows and resolve issues.
