Job summary

The HT Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk for a client in Beaumont, TX. This is an in-office Temp-to-Hire role offering a 40-hour work week and a pay range of $15–$18 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include processing, verifying, and coding vendor invoices; preparing payments; reconciling statements; maintaining AP records; and communicating with vendors and internal departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of accounts payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and web-based software
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and code vendor invoices
• Prepare and process vendor payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain AP records and vendor documentation
