Job summary

Haymarket Media, Inc. in New York, NY is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the Accounting team on a hybrid schedule; three days in office, Monday through Wednesday.

The Accounts Payable Coordinator will manage purchasing, receiving, invoice posting, and payment workflows across our multi-brand portfolio, ensuring timely supplier payments, proper documentation, internal controls, and resolution of transaction discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of dedicated Accounts Payable or full-cycle accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Unit4, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle or QuickBooks.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel/Sheets for data mgmt.
• Strong understanding of 3-way matching, GL entries and automated workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-department collaboration.
• Associate degree in Accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and ensure accurate coding with 3-way matching.
• Create and maintain vendor profiles in Unit4 Business World.
• Review T&E claims for policy compliance and adjustments.
• Prepare and manage payment proposals; execute wires and ACH payments.
• Monitor workflows, troubleshoot payment/ledger issues, and audit support.
• Respond to AP inquiries and support audits across multiple brands.
