Job summary

Bluejack Ranch in Texas is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Finance team. You will handle vendor inquiries, process invoices, and manage payments.

This hourly, non-exempt role emphasizes accurate reporting, expense recording, and adherence to SOPs while supporting other departments as needed.

Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Excel and NorthStar are valued, with opportunities to cross-train in AR and GL.

Qualifications

• Prior accounting experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; NorthStar experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle vendor inquiries and ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
• Manage recurring payments and maintain the payment schedule for accurate financial reporting.
• Record expenses and ensure proper allocation to the correct accounts and departments.
• Process daily check runs and ensure proper separation of duties within cash disbursement processes.
• Post and reconcile daily Accounts Payable transactions.
• Follow up on outstanding or disputed invoices to ensure timely resolution and payment.
• Reconcile outgoing payments and Club Holdings bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in creating and maintaining Accounting SOPs.
• Bring a positive attitude and be ready to assist in various departments as needed.
• Cross-train in Accounts Receivable and General Ledger functions to support the overall department.
