Our client is a fast-paced, growing organization committed to operational excellence, innovation, and providing outstanding service to our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team.

Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of company liabilities. This role plays a vital part in maintaining vendor relationships and supporting the financial integrity of the organization.

Salary & Work Schedule
  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
  • Shift: First
  • Work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
  1. Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
  2. Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices to verify accuracy.
  3. Code and enter invoices into the accounting system.
  4. Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
  5. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
  6. Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  7. Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all expenses are recorded.
  8. Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files and documentation.
  9. Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  10. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
  11. Track and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policy.
  12. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  13. Communicate with internal departments to clarify invoice issues.
  14. Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the AP function.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Educational requirement: Bachelor's degree
