The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing the organization’s accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review invoices for accuracy, appropriate documentation, and approval.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, suppliers, and employees.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledgers and records.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including preparing AP reports.
• Process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and resolve outstanding invoices and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of AP processes and systems.
• Support audit requests by providing necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
• SAGE experience preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
