Job summary

Gateway Group Personnel in Memphis is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable consultant to support a growing multi-entity organization in the residential and commercial contracting services sector. This urgent assignment has the potential to extend into a long-term or permanent opportunity.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with AP, skilled in automated AP workflows, Ramp or similar platforms, and familiar with ServiceTitan or Viewpoint Spectrum.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience with Ramp or similar AP automation platform.
• Multi-entity and/or high-volume AP environments with PO processing.
• Knowledge of job costing, AP controls, and reconciliations.
• ServiceTitan experience is highly desirable.
• Viewpoint Spectrum ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day AP processing across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and payments.
• Work extensively within Ramp or similar AP automation software, including invoice approvals and payment workflows.
• Manage vendor inquiries, discrepancies, payment issues, and account reconciliations.
• Support purchase-to-pay processes including purchase orders, PO matching, invoice approvals, and job cost coding.
• Support month-end close, including AP accruals, reconciliations, and outstanding liabilities.
• Work closely with Controllers, Procurement, and Field Operations to resolve AP issues and maintain efficient workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and automation.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on AP professional with strong experience in automated accounts payable systems and workflows. Experience with Ramp or a similar AP automation platform is highly preferred. Experience with ServiceTitan and Viewpoint Spectrum would also be highly valuable.
