Southwire Company is seeking an Accounts Payable positions at our Dallas Fort Worth Distribution Center. The role handles invoice processing, vendor communications, and discrepancies with a focus on accuracy and timely payments.

The position requires attention to detail, solid record-keeping, and the ability to coordinate with Purchasing and Logistics to ensure smooth financial operations. On-site work at the distribution center is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience processing accounts payable invoices.
• Ability to answer vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Scan and file accounts payable invoices and supporting documents.
• Maintain files on non-purchase order items and BOLs.
• Answer supplier questions about payments and invoice details.
• Work with purchasing to correct PO/invoice discrepancies.
• Sort and distribute mail; maintain postage system.
• Enter outbound shipment data and file related paperwork.
• Schedule receiving appointments for inbound trailers.
• Perform other duties as required.
