Honda on Grand in Addison Township is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team and ensure accurate, timely processing of invoices and vendor payments. This role focuses on attention to detail and reliable, collaborative work in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Automotive dealership accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and match purchase orders and receipts
• Prepare and issue payments to vendors
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate AP records and filing systems
• Assist with monthly closing activities and account reconciliations
• Communicate with vendors and dealership departments regarding invoice questions
• Support the accounting team with additional administrative duties as needed
