Job summary

Pop-Up Talent in Los Angeles seeks a skilled Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team. The role reports to the Director of Finance, with regular in-office presence required for day-to-day operations, meetings, training, and relationship-building.

You will handle project-based audits of client trust disbursements, full-cycle AP, vendor reconciliations, and month-end activities. Candidates should have at least 2 years of AP and IOLTA/trust accounting experience, strong

Responsibilities

• Audit client trust disbursements on a project basis.

• Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions in the accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end deadlines and 1099 preparation.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

• This role is to report directly to the Director of Finance and is based in our Los Angeles office. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project base audits on client trust disbursements.


• Provide full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice review and timely payment processing.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.


• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal department procedures and external vendor requirements.


• Assist with month-end deadlines, special projects, and annual 1099 preparation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable and IOLTA/Trust Accounting, ideally in law firm environment


• Resourceful and Motivated Problem Solver


• Ability to work in high volume and fast paced environment with proven track record in meeting department deadlines
