Job summary

Champion Home Builders, a leading maker in the manufactured housing industry, seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Leola, PA facility. You will process invoices, maintain AP files, and assist with vendor setup and reconciliations. Strong detail orientation and confidentiality are essential.

Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and Navision is preferred. The role supports monthly closings and internal inquiries while contributing to a safe, productive workplace.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 1–3 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong confidentiality and professional discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and accuracy.
• Experience with accounting systems and vendor setup preferred.

Responsibilities

• Validate and enter all invoices for payment.
• Maintain Accounts Payable files and vendor setup paperwork.
• Collaborate with Corporate AP on vendors and EFT setup.
• Assist with AP inquiries and vendor statements.
• Prepare AP reconciliation reports and account analyses.
• Assist monthly closings and division expense reconciliations.
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary:

Performs multiple tasks within the accounting department by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Validates and enters all invoices for payment.
• Maintains Accounts Payable Files
• Completes and/or reviews new vendor setup paperwork for completeness and submits to Corporate AP
• Collaborate with Corporate AP to maintain vendors, including address changes, EFT payment setup, etc.
• Assist with vendor and divisional AP inquiries
• Review vendor statements for outstanding items
• Prepare accounts payable reconciliation reports
• Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
• Assist in monthly closings
• Assist the division with expense reports and reconciliations
• Administrative tasks (filing, etc.)
• Special projects as needed

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Eye for detail, and accuracy is imperative
• Able to meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; Navision experience desired

Education And/or Experience

Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or one to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
