Job summary

South Louisiana Community College in Lafayette, LA is seeking an Accounting Services Coordinator to oversee accounts payable, budgeting and financial reporting within the Administration & Finance division.

The role focuses on processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, assisting with purchasing, grants, and audits, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and state laws. Strong MS Office skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process payments of invoices and reconcile voucher payables and vendor statements; prepare AP reports at year-end.
• Participate in monthly reconciliation of open purchase orders with Purchasing and Receiving.
• Provide budget support.
• Prepare managerial reports in accordance with GAAP and applicable laws and procedures.
• Communicate with auditors, students, third party contractors, vendors, banks to resolve fiscal issues.
