Qualifications

• Experience performing independent accounts payable functions in a business setting.
• Experience navigating, entering, and retrieving data from various computer systems, and databases in a professional work environment.
• Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)

Responsibilities

• Performing accounting functions associated with the auditing and scheduling of payments to vendors, providers, and other agencies.
• Auditing and preparing invoices and verifying established accounting codes to ensure accuracy prior to disbursement of funds.
• Responsible for reconciling, and researching expenditure transactions, data entry, and processing departmental correcting entries.
• Ensure proper documentation for purchasing card charges and reconcile charges through state approved systems.
• Monitoring pending invoices to ensure in line with Prompt Payment Compliance.
• Maintain vendor payment information and data for services using various databases and organizational codes.
• Serve as back-up to accounts payable team.
• Perform other accounting duties, as required or assigned.
