Job summary

St Barnabas Health System in Valencia, PA seeks an Accounts Payable Associate to manage vendor invoices, maintain records, and support the AP process within our finance team.

The role requires 2–3 years in AP/GL, proficiency in Excel/Outlook, and detail-oriented, organized work habits. In-office 5 days, with strong communication and teamwork expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years in accounts payable/general ledger
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Experience in SAGE Intacct accounting software a plus
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management and problem-solving skills
• In-office role 5 days per week

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices for a multifaceted company
• Maintain vendor records
• Process and review weekly AP check run
• Process and enter manual checks
• Communicate with vendors to resolve outstanding balances and sales tax discrepancies
• Communicate with managers to obtain approvals on vendor invoices
• Prepare and key monthly journal entries
• Maintain W9s and assist with Year-end 1099s
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
• Assist AP Supervisor and Finance Manager with projects as they arise
