Job summary

Talentify in Evansville, IN is seeking an on-site Accounts Payable Associate to support the transition to a new cloud-based ERP system. You will help identify discrepancies and perform manual data entry to ensure vendor records are accurate.

This contract role focuses on resolving invoice mismatches, reconciling purchases and vendor activity, and maintaining precise accounts payable processes within a traditional office setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably within a manufacturing company.
• 1+ year resolving invoice discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders or receiving information.
• 1+ year performing manual reconciliations, including opening vendor statements and matching invoices and payments.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate

Join our team as an onsite Accounts Payable Associate to assist with the transition to a new cloud-based ERP system. Your role will involve resolving discrepancies and performing manual data entry to ensure the accuracy of our vendor records.

Responsibilities

• Identify and update discrepancies in vendor information within the new ERP system, ensuring that each file has the correct bank account information.
• Perform manual reconciliations related to purchase order receipts, purchase order invoices, and vouchering.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience performing accounts payable duties, preferably within a manufacturing company.
• 1+ year of experience resolving invoice discrepancies, including researching mismatches between invoices and purchase orders or receiving information.
• 1+ year of experience performing manual reconciliations, including opening vendor statement/invoice lists, comparing records, matching invoices, payments, credits, and identifying and correcting discrepancies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

This fully onsite position is based in a traditional office environment, working within the Accounting Department.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Evansville, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
