Job summary

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. (MSG Entertainment) is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our finance team in New York. The role focuses on AP processes, system enhancements, and improving vendor account accuracy and reconciliation.

The analyst will collaborate across departments to ensure precise accruals and robust internal controls. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Accounts Payable, strong Oracle Cloud experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of vendor management and statement reconciliations.
• Proven ability to support process improvement initiatives and system implementations.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely reconciliation of vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances or discrepancies.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other departments to ensure accurate accruals are recorded.
• Review and enhance AP procedures to improve efficiency and compliance with internal controls.
• Support training and development of AP team members.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close activities.
• Handle ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed.
• Collaborate with Vendor Management and other departments to ensure vendor information is accurate.
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
