Job summary

NCQA is hiring an Accounting Analyst in Accounts Payable to coordinate the AP function, review invoices, travel reimbursements, and allocate and code items according to NCQA policies. The role supports month-end close and prepares 1099/1096 reporting.

The position requires an AA in business or related field with 3–5+ years accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of learning accounting software such as NetSuite, Unanet, and PN3. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills, math abilities, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of accounting and spreadsheet software.
• Preferred knowledge: NetSuite (Oracle), Unanet, PN3

Responsibilities

• Review payable vouchers approved by Program Managers for accuracy and adherence to NCQA policies.
• Prioritize invoices for payment and prepare checks, ACHs and wires as needed.
• Maintain AP data in NetSuite, Unanet and PN3; coordinate AP month-end close and audit data for accuracy.
• Coordinate accounting for American Express and Truist credit cards; ensure timely payment.
• Prepare annual 1099/1096 reporting and assist with forecast, budget and system implementations.
