Job summary

CFS in Bakersfield, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead our payables and receivables functions, mentor a skilled team, and drive process improvements. You will oversee full-cycle AP/AR, vendor payments, cash applications, billing, and collections, and partner with leadership to optimize cash flow in a collaborative setting.

• Lead and supervise the full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Mentor, develop, and motivate a team of AP/AR professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, cash applications, billing, and collections to optimize cash flow
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, aging reports, and month-end close activities
• Partner with leadership to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and implement efficiencies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with vendors, customers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships
• Leverage accounting systems and tools such as those from Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, or Intuit to streamline operations and reporting
