Job summary

Regal Automotive Group in Lakeland, FL is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proficient in dealership accounting processes.

You will review, code, and process invoices, match with PO and receiving docs, and manage payments via check, ACH, and electronic transfer while maintaining accurate records and supporting month-end close.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership accounting experience preferred.
• Dealership management software experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, code, and process vendor invoices and supporting documentation.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Process payments by check, ACH, and electronic transfer.
• Monitor payment schedules and resolve vendor discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and outstanding balances.
• Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconciliations.
• Communicate with vendors.
