People Profilers Pte Ltd seeks an Accountant to manage Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets, including month-end closings, in the United States. You will handle payments, aging, refunds, asset tagging, depreciation, and journal entries, while supporting system testing and process improvements.

Requirements include a Diploma in Accountancy, 3+ years in accounting, strong Excel, and SAP B1 experience is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

• Experience in system implementation.
• Strong computer literacy with Excel; SAP B1 experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Accounts Receivable: process payments, reconcile bank receipts, manage refunds, monitor aging, and contact customers to resolve billing issues.
• Fixed Assets: assist tagging, perform manual depreciation, and prepare audit schedules.
• Closing: run AR/FA month-end closings and post related journal entries.
• System enhancement: participate in testing, data verification, and solution logic.
• Cross-department collaboration to resolve billing discrepancies and support process improvements.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable activities (AR)

• Process and apply payments from various payment mode.
• Reconcile bank receipts received from online transactions and investigate discrepancies (if any).
• Manage customer refunds.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.
• Able to contact with customers to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Assist in monthly supporting documentation preparation.

Fixed Assets activities (FA)

• Assist in generating asset tagging.
• Be able to perform manual depreciation (if needed)
• Be able to perform audit schedules.

Closing activities

• Perform monthly AR and FA related month-end closing activities and reconciliation.
• Prepare and post AR and FA journal entries, including but not limited to accrual and reversal.

System Enhancement / Development

• Experience in solution implementation which involves system testing, data verification, assessing the solution logic.

Others

• Maintains an efficient working relationship with stakeholders from other departments in regard to billing matters and resolve billing discrepancies / enquiries.
• Comply with internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain accurate financial records.
• Contribute and support business process improvement initiatives.
• To assist in any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience and good communication skills.
• Experience in system implementation
• Strong computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office in particular strong in Excel and experience in SAP B1 is an added advantage.
