SUMMARY: This Poultry Accounting Intern role is designed to provide a foundational experience in operations finance and accounting, this internship offers a unique opportunity to explore the inner workings of a a complex, data-driven manufacturing environment. As a Finance & Accounting Intern, you'll gain exposure to real-world financial processes, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects that support plant operations and strategic decision-making.
Education: Finance or Accounting major is required with at least a year of school remaining.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task; working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint.
Communication Skills: Good written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Special Skills: Must have the desire to learn and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in teams.
Position-Specific Requirements: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 - 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods' Springdale, AR World Headquarters.
