This role processes Time & Equipment timesheets in IRIS and assists the Budget Section with financial activities across divisions.

The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Central Region is looking for an Accounting Technician 1 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing: This position is one of a group of two responsible for processing all Central Region Time & Equipment timesheets (T&E) in the IRIS system using the creation, completion, review, and approval of ICT documents. It will also provide support to the Budget Section`s Administrative Officer 1, and Budget Analyst 2 in the review of financial activities within the Design, Engineering and Construction components for Central Region, and other regions, divisions and Statewide components as needed.

Office hours are flexible. The option to telework is available for this position upon completion of probationary period, in accordance with current department policies.
