Interstate Batteries is seeking a Supervisor, ABC Accounting to lead a team of accounting professionals responsible for monthly financial statements and internal reporting for All Battery Center stores and IOT storefronts.

You will supervise 5+ staff, perform variance analysis, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with regional managers to deliver accurate financial information. This role supports process improvements and requires strong Excel skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of Financial Reporting experience (Income Statements, Financial Statements, etc.).
• 4+ years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in the distribution industry.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Strong experience with SAP general ledger preferred.
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assembles and reviews monthly financial statements for the All Battery Center stores and Interstate Owned Territory (IOT) storefronts.
• Supervises a team of 5+ accounting specialists and a staff accountant.
• Supervises and participates in financial, account, and variance analysis.
• Provides feedback on financial statement elements to Regional Managers and Store Managers.
• Participates in and supports transformation efforts, in the business.
• Coordinates with All Battery Sr. Advisor/Manager to resolve issues.
• Supervises and provides internal customers with pertinent financial information regarding the Interstate All Battery Centers.
• Creates purchase orders for stores' supplies and other miscellaneous expenses and submits to Accounts Payable.
• Provides internal customers with pertinent financial information regarding the Interstate All Battery Centers.
