Interstate Batteries in Dallas seeks a Supervisor, ABC Accounting to lead a team of accounting specialists and drive accurate financial reporting. You will oversee monthly statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis while collaborating with regional and store managers to ensure timely, compliant financial data.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years in financial reporting and accounting, and leadership experience. CPA or candidate status is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of 4 years of Financial Reporting experience (Income Statements, Financial Statements, etc.).
• A minimum of 4 years of general accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in the distribution industry.
• People leadership experience preferred, including developing and motivating teams.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex financial data.

Responsabilidades

• Assembles and reviews monthly financial statements for stores and territories.
• Supervises a team of 5+ accounting specialists and a staff accountant.
• Performs financial, account, and variance analysis.
• Provides feedback on financial statement elements to Regional and Store Managers.
• Participates in transformation efforts and supports process improvements.
• Coordinates with Senior Advisor/Manager to resolve issues.
• Prepares balance sheet reconciliations and submits for approval.
• Creates purchase orders for stores’ supplies and submits to Accounts Payable.
