ARS-Rescue Rooter in Columbus, OH is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for full-time, year-round work with some travel. You will oversee accounts receivable, collections, payables and general ledger tasks, coordinating with management to achieve cost improvements while maintaining strong internal controls.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and excellent communication. Travel-average expectations are up to one week per month.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum supervisor experience in Accounting Department.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional task management abilities and deadline driven.
• Superb multi-tasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable and full-range accounting duties.
• Coordinate with GM and controller to meet facility objectives and cost improvements.
• Process and reconcile invoices, billings, cash receipts, vendor statements and journal entries.
• Review and code financial information, customer payments and P&L statements.
• Assist Controller on Month End close, reporting requirements and reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures.
