Qualifications

BA or BS degree required.
Minimum 5 years of related accounting experience.
Experience with Applied EPIC system and strong insurance accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

Post data to agency general ledger and verify billing data; correct any errors and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare monthly closing entries for consolidation into corporate results.
Review data variances with corporate finance and report monthly; compile and report data for internal audits and SOX.
Reconcile and disburse payments to carriers and non-employee sales agents; ensure timely processing and confidentiality.
Oversee Direct Bill and Agency Bill receivables/payables; perform DDA reconciliations and daily reconciliation of DDA reports.
Lead and supervise accounting staff; provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to meet objectives.
