First National Bank Of Pennsylvania is seeking a Portfolio Servicing Specialist 1 to assist in monitoring the Retail Lending portfolio and support branch loan operations. The role includes structuring loans, answering commercial loan questions, and preparing monthly management reports for QC and Compliance.

Minimum BA/BS and 3 years related experience are required, with proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRIF software, CODS andDirector.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS required.
  • 3+ years of job-related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Word (basic) and MS Excel (intermediate) and MS PowerPoint (basic).
  • Experience with CRIF software, Customer Information System and Director.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up with branch personnel on reports (Matured Loan Report, Paid Loans Report) and advise on loan restructurings.
  • Assist branch personnel on loan modification requests.
  • Maintain a monthly log of modification requests.
  • May be cross-trained to handle more complex deals based on borrower credit criteria.
  • Provide monthly updates for management reporting to Quality Control and Compliance.
  • Support risk management and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Overview

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in monitoring the existing Retail Business Banking portfolio along with performing a variety of other duties for support to the branch including structuring loans, answering commercial loan questions, working reports such as the Matured Loan Report and the Paid Loans Report, handling all issues and problems that may arise with the loan prior to amending or modifying loan terms and providing monthly updates for management reporting to the Quality Control and Compliance Specialist.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Follows up with branch personnel on reports such as the Matured Loan Report, Paid Loans Report, etc. distributed by the Quality Control and Compliance Specialist and makes recommendations to the Manager of Small Administration on re-structuring of loans, releasing of collateral, etc.
  • Recommends and aids branch personnel on how to best handle loan modification requests.
  • Maintains a log of modification requests on a monthly basis.
  • May be cross trained to do more complex deals and making recommendations based upon the credit criteria of the borrower such as repayment capacity, credit worthiness, collateral value of asset securing the loan, etc.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
