Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Primary Job Responsibilities, not limited to:

• General Accounting:
• Manage the general accounting function and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
• Manage the overall month end close and ensure that all reconciliations, supporting schedules and analysis are completed on a timely basis and in accordance with the monthly closing schedule
• Oversee the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements
• Team Management:
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the team
• Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct performance evaluations
• Oversee the daily operations of the team and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of work
• Compliance and Auditing:
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Coordinate the external audit
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Oversee the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
• Ensure timely processing of purchase orders, vendor bills, customer invoices, payments, and collections
• Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations
• Leverage Accounting Software to streamline processes

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with accounting operations, audit and compliance
