Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax-related activities.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform and supervise general ledger accounting activities.
• Evaluate current accounting practices and procedures; recommend and implement process improvements.
• Lead and mentor 1–2 junior accounting staff members.
• Ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by management

This role will oversee core accounting operations, support process improvements, and supervise junior staff while ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax-related activities
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for multiple business entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Perform and supervise general ledger accounting activities
• Evaluate current accounting practices and procedures; recommend and implement process improvements
• Lead and mentor 1–2 junior accounting staff members
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
