Leanin' Tree is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the Finance team. You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks including processing payments, resolving account questions, and recording journal entries to keep books accurate.

This role collaborates across departments, supports receivables and payables, and participates in month-end close. The position requires 1–2 years accounting experience and proficiency in Excel.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years' experience in accounting, including accounts payable, customer service, and/or other accounting duties.
• Full proficiency with personal computers, Excel, and Microsoft applications.

Responsabilidades

• Talk with customers by phone to process credit card payments and resolve account-related issues.
• Handle customer collections, apply cash, and record transactions accurately to customer accounts.
• Assist with vendor inquiries.
• Monitor the accounting email inbox and process payments accurately and promptly.
• Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries for your assigned areas.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and maintain accounting reports.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate professionally with employees across all company departments.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
