Job summary

Elite Connector is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support the finance department by performing daily accounting tasks and maintaining accurate financial records. This hands-on role requires a solid understanding of debits and credits and the ability to work independently.

You will process AP/AR, post journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, support month-end close, assist payroll, and help with audits and financial reporting while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience (3+ years) required.
• Strong understanding of debits and credits.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or similar).

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Support month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting.
• Assist audits and ensure transactions are properly supported.
• Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
