Job summary

Würth Industry USA is seeking an Accounting Specialist II to join our finance team in Minnesota. This role focuses on mid-level accounting tasks, including GL maintenance, reconciliations, financial reporting, and billing support.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in monthly close and process improvements. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or Finance required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 3+ years accounting experience with growing responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and GL functions.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle/NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post recurring and non-standard journal entries.
• Reconcile key general ledger accounts monthly.
• Assist with month-end close and reporting.
• Support billing data review and cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Assist with sales tax, property tax, and external audits.
• Investigate variances with stakeholders and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare standard reports and dashboards for financial analysis.
• Help implement accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Provide backup for A/P and A/R as needed.
• Support special projects within accounting and finance team.
• Other duties as assigned.
