Wurth Industry US is seeking an Accounting Specialist II to perform mid-level accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, billing support, and monthly close contributions. The role emphasizes accuracy, analytical review, and cross-functional collaboration within the finance team.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in accounting and 3+ years of accounting experience, with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience with growth in responsibilities and technical skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professional integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across teams and departments.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post recurring and non-standard journal entries (accruals, reclasses, prepaid amortizations).
• Reconcile key general ledger accounts (cash, AR, AP, inventory) monthly.
• Assist with month-end close and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Support billing functions with data validation and cross-team collaboration.
• Monitor fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation activity.
• Assist with compliance tasks (sales tax, property tax, audits).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate variances and maintain data integrity.
• Participate in financial analysis and reporting (standard reports, dashboards).
• Help implement and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Provide backup support for A/P and A/R as needed.
• Support special projects within accounting/finance.
