Job summary

Qcells North America is seeking an Accounting Specialist II to handle daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks in alignment with GAAP. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and supports the Finance team in preparing financial statements and regulatory reports.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business, 5+ years of accounting experience, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business is required.
• 5+ years of work experience in accounting, treasury, or finance environment.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with SAP is preferred; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Set up and maintain code of accounts.
• Assist in monthly close procedures and period end close schedule.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with regulatory reporting as applicable.
• Support internal control over accounting functions and assist auditors.
